Wholesale Music and Media Merchandising
As a substantial record distribution company, Plastic Head has unique access to over 1,000 live retail accounts, representing everywhere recorded music is sold in Europe and further afield. With no minimum order restriction, we can fulfil demand for licensed music apparel and novelties from the smallest independent high street store to the largest multiples and e-tailers. We are unique in this respect. We operate like a record company, in that, we schedule each new product well in advance, along with distributing new release and restock information weekly to all customers.
We only use recognised major branded garments from companies such as Gildan, Anvil, AWDis, Bella and Continental, all environmentally friendly manufacturers. We have a fantastic in-house design team and every product is mocked-up for client approval prior to sampling. Plastic Head pays artist clients the best market royalty rates, based on high distributor prices which are rarely discounted. It is accepted that our agreements are flexible, and they consider our clients’ other commitments.
In the rock and alternative music sector, no other company can outsell Plastic Head. We also contract with record companies and other merchandising entities to manage the rights they control. These ‘roster’ deals mean that Plastic Head can maximise those assets and they can earn additional income from third party licensing.
